Our Team Message

Our team prides themselves on the gracious professionalism that we show not only during the robotics season but throughout the year and in all team and individual activities that we take part in. We understand the importance of respecting and appreciating others and make sure to give ample thanks to all those who help us. As part of gracious professionalism, our team also evalutes ourselves as a team building strategy as well as, takes the time to learn from other teams. We recognize that other teams/groups may have better ideas about keeping a strong team together, and enjoy learning from and working with them. We never turn down the opportunity to get involved, or get someone else involved with us.

Aside from our efforts to reach out to each other and the community, we've also found a way to reach ourselves. Not long after the start of this season, our team got together to discuss the chairman's awards submission package. During the discussion someone on the team brought up the question, "show of hands, how many of you believe that being on this robotics team has helped you decide or cement your future career plans". To the asker's surprise nearly every veteran positively responded, even some rookies felt more confident with their future in engineering or mechanics.

This alone, was able to put a smile on every mentor's face in the room, and as a team we realised how important to us our experience as a Knight of Alloy really is.

As a team we want to promote inidividual growth in a team setting. Putting aside our differences, we realise that working together and using each others strengths and overcoming our weaknesses is half the fun of building and playing with robots.

Thanks to all our supporters and behind the scenes people that made this all possible.
